New vertical blinds and conservatory awnings by markilux with "zip system"
The zipper is an essential part of daily life. It is practical and can be used for many things. Markilux has now taken advantage of its principle for two new vertical blinds and conservatory awnings. The awning cover for the models markilux 620/660 zip and markilux 680/689 zip is fixed with a so-called "zip system".
Without cover gap between cover and guide tracks
The cover is guided in some kind of zipper mechanism in a plastic profile of the lateral guide tracks. The advantage: The awning cover is flush with the inner profile of the guide tracks - without any annoying gap between cover and tracks. The result is an attractive, closed appearance that hardly offers any access for wind. The awnings are thanks to this very wind-resistant.
Vertical awnings with new insect screen
The two vertical awnings markilux 620 and 660 zip, however, offer yet another new feature: They are also available with an extendable/retractable insect screen. Rolled up it rests in a slim housing that closes the frame which is open at the bottom. The extension mechanism of the insect screen can be activated via a latching mechanism. If the cover is retracted, the insect screen retracts at the same time.
Particularly suitable for glass roofing and conservatories
Even the two new conservatory awnings markilux 680 and 689 zip profit from the new zip technology with elegant and very wind-resistant fabric guiding. The markilux 680 zip is a very small conservatory awning that is suitable as solar protection on glass roofing and conservatories on patios and balconies. The markilux 689 zip is a new version of the under-glass awning which is mounted under glass roofing.
