The new folding-arm awning: markilux® 6000
Challenged by clients desire to individualize and give their living space a personal touch, the Schmitz-Werke have developed an all new balcony and patio awning.
The markilux® 6000 creates an individual character through its versatile style options.
The style lines Club, Studio and Lounge individually match different housing styles various options for color and design allow to place unique accents.
The aluminum cassettes are both durable and attractive due to their powder-coated surfaces. The mirror and frame are available in a powder-coated finish, polished chrome, black chrome, polycarbonate, polished wood-effect laminate and stainless-steel-mesh. The Lounge series also offers an optional extra: the surface of the powder-coated cassette is finished using the latest in nano technology. The surface is dirt-repellent, stain-resistant and thus self-cleaning.
There are a total of 15 different combinations of frame and mirror. Matching cover designs come recommended by the markilux® designers to help with the decision making process. Of course it remains possible to combine any style with any fabric in the exclusive markilux® collection.
Bionic tendon for durable operation
A new advantage of the markilux® 6000 is the bionic-tendon as a result of thorough research and development the new tendon allows for optimized transmission of force from the folding arm joints to the front profile, resulting in optimized cover tension.
Furthermore the tendon is tear resistant, durable, completely noiseless in operation and maintenance free.
Added features: attractive and practical
A clip-on system, which is built into the front profile using a single notch, allows to tailor the functions of the markilux 6000 to a clients individual needs. Adding the optional motor-driven Shadeplus module or a lighting system, for example, have become easy tasks.
