The proven wind protection and privacy screen has been expanded by the addition of a new, practical version: markilux format “lift” – which has a vertically extending frame section with either a textile fabric covering or a transparent, full foil window.

markilux format slide: Just a quick shove
Easy-to-move side screens for balconies and carports
With the “formatslide”, markilux is now providing easy-to-move side screens for balconies and carports. The aluminium frames fitted with a cover are arranged on up to three stainless steel tracks and offer up to six metres of lateral protection against unwanted glances and wind.
When balconies are directly adjacent to one another, you often long for a separating wall in the summer so you can enjoy some privacy of your own. But that does not have to be something permanent if you get along well with your neighbours. If you want to decide for yourself when you need privacy and when you don’t, “format slide” from markilux is a versatile system made up of movable sections that make this possible. They also provide perfect protection against the wind and prying eyes for carports.
Also suitable as a room divider
The aluminium frames, which are up to two and a half metres high and are fitted with an awning cover, run with very little noise in fixed floor tracks made of stainless steel. At the top they are held by slide profiles that would be attached to a ceiling or a cross beam. A maximum of five sections can be combined depending on the width of the partition. If you do not want to be disturbed, simply pull the frames across and open them again when you want to enjoy the view. An additional panoramic window can also be installed to offer a clear view outside. The frame sections are even suitable for interior use, for example to visually separate parts of a room or to create storage space that is out of sight.
