FAQ about markilux format
markilux format is a modular, rectangular panel element with a sturdy aluminium frame and a high-quality textile cover. It provides effective wind protection / extra privacy for the Patio, garden or balcony.
The system is very flexible as it is made to measure:
- Base frame / clamp bracket: width up to 300 cm, height up to 250 cm.
- Fixed (with posts): Width up to 250 cm, height up to 200 cm.
- Triangular version: width up to 600 cm, height up to 150 cm.
There are various mounting options for almost every building situation:
- Direct mounting: the base frame is screwed directly (e.g. to a face).
- Clamp bracket: With adjustable brackets for flexible fixture.
- Fixed: Fixture using external, intermediate or corner posts that are set in concrete.
markilux format is a modular wind protection and extra privacy system with a textile character. It offers a decorative and elegant alternative to Patio extra privacy solutions made of wood and concrete. The advantages are unlimited expansion of the individual elements, so you remain flexible and can expand or reduce your extra privacy in a modular way. Individual design options in terms of material and colour allow for visual adaptation to the surroundings.
Yes, the system is ideally matched to other markilux awning systems. It can be combined particularly well with the markilux pergola awnings or the markilux markant awning system.
The awning cover determines the look of your new textile Patio privacy screen and is available in a choice of colours. Whether you prefer beige, yellow, red or another colour - choose your favourite colour from our wide range of fabric covers. Depending on which awning fabric you choose, your textile privacy screen will be more or less light transmission. For a better view, you can opt for a transparent panorama window. If required, we can even realise your very special colour requirements based on RAL.
It is easy to re-tension or completely replace the cover if necessary. If you need a breath of fresh air on your Patio, simply swap the awning cover for a different colour.
