Underglass awning markilux 879

The markilux 879 is an underglass awning with a round cassette that is installed under the roof of a conservatory or glass canopy.

Our two models in the underglass awning range, markilux 879 and markilux 779, differ visually in the shape of the cassette. While the cassette of the markilux 779 is square, the cassette of the markilux 879 is round. The markilux 779 can be fitted with an LED-Line cassette. The markilux 779 can also shade slightly larger areas.

The standard operation of the markilux underglass awnings is the crank. Hard-wired motors can be installed as an option, enabling convenient control via remote control, app or weather-controlled sensors.

The underglass awning markilux 879 offers the advantage that the awning cover is optimally protected at all times. Whether retracted or extended, the awning is safe from wind and weather. Lighting and additional equipment such as shadeplus or infrared heaters can also be integrated.

Thanks to the counter tensioning technology and the design of the markilux 879, areas of up to 27 square metres can be shaded. If you opt for the tracfix cover guidance, an area of 24 square metres is possible.

Depending on the size of the awning and whether the tracfix cover guidance has been selected, the markilux 879 can be categorised in wind resistance class 2 or 3.

markilux tracfix is a special type of cover guidance. The fabric cover is traditionally transported in guide tracks. With the tracfix variant, the gap between the awning cover and the guide track is closed, resulting in optimum cover tension and better wind resistance.

There are various options available for the markilux 879 underglass awning, allowing you to enjoy your space in the conservatory or under the glass canopy even more. The markilux shadeplus provides additional shade. LED-Lines in the guide tracks and infrared heaters ensure a cosy atmosphere even after sunset.

With vertical roller blinds, you can provide all-round shade for your conservatory or glass canopy. This also intercepts lateral sun rays and the low sun. At the same time, the vertical roller blinds provide privacy and wind protection.
