According to Mr Gerling, the awnings can be attached to almost any type of building in order to maintain a constantly pleasant indoor climate. “In addition to modern, low-maintenance technology, the properties of our awning covers are particularly important,” says the Managing Director. The fabrics reflect ultraviolet rays, which keeps the heat outside and ensures a pleasant living climate.

Controlling solar protection systems automatically is best

When building a conservatory or installing glass canopies over a patio, you should therefore plan to incorporate solar protection immediately. And the best way to do this is with automated technology, recommends Michael Gerling. “Solar protection functions best if it shades a room before the heat can get inside.
