A semi-cassette awning in a class of its own: this is the markilux 1600 with a maximum size of up to 7.10 m wide and 4 m draw. However, it convinces not only with its impressive dimensions, but also with its appearance.
As a semi-cassette awning, the markilux 1600 is open at the bottom. Its protective roof adapts perfectly to the awning's inclination and closes perfectly with the front profile when retracted. FAQ about the markilux 1600
A semi-open folding-arm awning is an awning in which the cassette is open at the bottom. When retracted, the awning cover is protected from above by the cassette. The folding-arms are designed to extend and stretch the fabric cover to provide shade.
There are various options for the markilux 1600, including shadeplus, end caps in polished chrome, valance, integration into your smart home and control with remote control or weather-dependent sensors. Several awnings can also be coupled. If you need a larger extension than the width of the awning, there is a stretch version.
Shadeplus is an additional awning cover that is built into the front profile of the awning and can be lowered vertically to provide additional protection from low sunlight. This option is available for the markilux 1600.
The markilux 1600 is available with a straight, waved, curved or flat waved valance.
The end caps of the front profile are available with polished chrome elements.
A wall sealing profile is available for the markilux 1600. The slim aluminium profile closes the gap between the awning and the face so that rain is diverted away via the awning.
The standard operation of the markilux 1600 semi-cassette awning is manual operation using a crank, winding handle. Control by hard-wired motor, radio-controlled motor or weather-dependent control by sensors is also optional. If you wish, you can integrate the awning into your smart home.
