When extended - and also when closed in the case of open awnings - the colour of the awning has a significant influence on the overall appearance of your solar protection. "Which awning fabric to choose?" is the question that arises in view of the large selection. Depending on whether you want to buy a pergola awning in the garden, a freestanding awning by the pool, a balcony awning or a vertical awning, consider the visual characteristics of the surroundings. If you want your awning to blend discreetly into the landscape, choose the colour that dominates the location. As a rule, you can't go wrong with muted and classic colours such as anthracite, brown, green, beige and blue. If you deliberately want to make a colourful statement, opt for colourful awning fabrics in yellow, orange or red. If you would like other trendy colours for your awning, such as turquoise or pink, we will be happy to create these for you on request.
Consider the shade of the awning: when the sun is shining, the sun's rays reflect the colour of the awning fabric and bathe all objects under the awning in an atmospheric light. What colour do you want the shade of your awning to be? What is the colour that puts you in a good mood? And which colour matches the mood you want to create on your patio or balcony?

Como é que se formam as dobras de dobragem?
As dobras de dobragem ocorrem quando o tecido do toldo é feito e dobrado. Pode ser visível uma linha escura na área dobrada quando vista contra a luz, especialmente com cores claras, o que é causado pelo vinco das fibras (refração da luz).
Corrugação na zona da costura e da alma
Podem ocorrer ao longo das costuras laterais, na zona das costuras e no centro dos painéis. O tecido é dobrado nas costuras. Isto resulta em diferentes diâmetros de enrolamento. A tensão criada pelos braços articulados, o sistema de fixação, a flacidez da onda de enrolamento e/ou o perfil de saída podem favorecer estes efeitos. Qual é a resistência à chuva do tecido do meu toldo?
Os tecidos de proteção solar são impregnados com um acabamento repelente de água e permanecem resistentes à chuva durante uma chuva curta e ligeira, quando utilizados de acordo com as instruções do fabricante e com um ângulo de inclinação de pelo menos 14°. Durante períodos mais longos de humidade e/ou de chuva forte, o toldo deve permanecer fechado ou ser recolhido para evitar danos. Quando o tecido estiver molhado, o toldo deve ser novamente estendido para secar imediatamente após a chuva para evitar manchas de bolor.
O que são as bainhas laterais?
O tecido é geralmente suportado quase permanentemente sob tensão por um sistema de molas activas. Embora as costuras e as bainhas actuem como um reforço, também têm de suportar as maiores cargas. Quando o tecido é enrolado, as bainhas e as costuras ficam umas em cima das outras, o que aumenta ainda mais a pressão e a tensão. Como resultado, são particularmente sujeitas a tensões e esticadas. Isto pode fazer com que as costuras laterais cedam ligeiramente quando o toldo é estendido.
Como posso cuidar corretamente do tecido do meu toldo?
O pó pode ser removido com uma escova macia quando estiver seco. As folhas e sujidade semelhante devem ser removidas imediatamente. As nódoas pequenas devem ser removidas com água e um detergente suave disponível no mercado, de preferência líquido (solução de sabão a 5 por cento, temperatura máxima da água de 30 °C).
