The following provides information on how our service meets the accessibility requirements.


Description of the applicable accessibility requirements

The applicable accessibility requirements are set out in the Accessibility Improvement Act and the Ordinance to the Accessibility Improvement Act.

Services are barrier-free if they can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the usual way, without particular difficulty and generally without outside help.

This requires

  • Products used to provide the service must meet the requirements of the Regulation on the Accessibility Reinforcement Act,
  • the provision of information on the functioning of the service and, in the event that products are used to provide the service, the provision of information on the connection of the service to these products and on the accessibility features and interoperability of these products with assistive technologies must meet the following requirements:
    • the information is provided through more than one sensory channel,
    • it is discoverable by the consumer,
    • it is presented in an understandable way,
    • it is presented to consumers in a way that they can perceive,
    • the information content is provided in text formats that are suitable for generating alternative assistive formats by the consumer, that can be presented in different ways and perceived through more than one sensory channel,
    • they are presented in a font of appropriate size and shape, taking into account the foreseeable context of use, and with sufficient contrast and stand-offs between letters, lines and paragraphs,
    • an alternative presentation of the content is offered, where elements of non-textual content are included,
    • the digital information necessary for the provision of the service is provided in a consistent and appropriate manner by being perceivable, operable, understandable and robust,
  • websites, including associated online applications and services offered on mobile devices, including mobile apps, are designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust in a consistent and appropriate manner, and
  • in the case of the availability of support services such as help desks, call centers, technical assistance, relay services and training services, provide information on the accessibility and compatibility of the service with assistive technologies using accessible means of communication.

For e-commerce services

  • information on the accessibility of the products for sale and of the services offered, where such information is provided by the responsible economic operator,
  • identification, authentication, security and payment features, where these are not provided in the form of a product,
  • Identification methods, authentication methods, electronic signatures and payment services, when provided, shall be designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust and
  • Identification methods, authentication methods, electronic signatures and payment services, when provided, shall be designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

Perceivability means that the information and components of the user interface must be presented to users in such a way that they can perceive them.

Operability means that the user must be able to handle the components of the user interface and navigation.

Understandability means that the information and handling of the user interface must be understandable.

Robustness means that the content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

Functions relating to the design and manufacture of products and the provision of services for which no requirements are set out in the Ordinance to the Accessibility Improvement Act are considered accessible if they meet the following requirements for the functional performance criteria and capabilities of users in accordance with the Ordinance to the Accessibility Improvement Act:

If the product or service offers visual forms of operation,

  • there must be at least one form of operation that enables use in the absence of vision,
  • there must be at least one form of operation that enables use in the presence of impaired vision and
  • there must be at least one form of operation that does not require color discrimination.

If the product or service offers auditory forms of operation,

  • at least one form of operation must be provided that does not require hearing and
  • at least one form of operation with enhanced audio functions must be provided that enables use with impaired hearing.

If the product or service requires vocal input from the user, there must be at least one user interface that does not require vocal input. Vocal input includes oral sounds such as speaking, whistling or clicking.

If the product or service requires manual operation, there shall be at least one form of operation that enables use by other forms of operation that do not require fine motor control and operation, hand muscle strength or simultaneous operation of more than one control.

The controls of the product shall be within reach of all users. If the product or service offers manual operation, there must be at least one form of operation that enables operation with limited reach and strength.

If the product offers visual forms of operation, forms of operation that trigger photosensitive seizures must be avoided.

The product or service shall have at least one mode of operation that includes features that facilitate and simplify use with cognitive impairments.

If the product or service includes accessibility features, it shall have at least one mode of operation that ensures user privacy when using these accessibility features.

Information about the service

Our online offer is a store for the sale and shipping of goods.

In the desktop version, you can access the presentation pages of the individual goods via categories at the following location:

In the mobile version, you can access the presentation pages of the individual goods via categories at the following location:
In the menu after clicking on the three bars in the upper right-hand area of the screen.

You can add the desired goods to the virtual shopping cart on their presentation pages via a virtual button.

You can access the shopping cart in the desktop version at any time via a virtual button at the following location:
The shopping cart is located in the top right corner of the menu bar.

In the mobile version, you can access the shopping cart at any time via a virtual button at the following location:
The shopping cart is located in the top right corner of the menu bar.

In the shopping cart, you can check the selected goods and, if necessary, change and remove them using the available virtual buttons. You can also initiate the electronic ordering process via a virtual button in the shopping cart. In the electronic ordering process, you enter your details and select the payment method and shipping method.

At the end of the electronic ordering process, you are taken to a final overview page. There you can check the order and, if necessary, change it or cancel the order using the available virtual buttons.

The order is triggered when you press the virtual button with the following label:

If you have selected an online payment method from a third-party provider during the ordering process, you will be redirected to this third-party provider after pressing the virtual button. Please follow the instructions of the third-party provider.

Once you have successfully completed the order process, we will send you the goods.

In order to meet accessibility requirements, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. All non-text content has a text alternative that fulfills the same purpose, except in certain exceptional cases such as controls, time-based media, tests, sensory content, CAPTCHAs or decorative elements.

Information, structure and relationships can be determined programmatically or are available in text form.

Meaningful order
The correct order of content, which influences the meaning, can be determined programmatically.

Sensory properties
Operational instructions are not based exclusively on sensory properties such as shape, color, size or position.

Screen orientation
Content is accessible in both portrait and landscape orientation, unless a specific orientation is essential.

Determining the purpose of the input
The purpose of each input field that collects information about the user can be determined programmatically.

Use of color
Color is not used as the only means of conveying information or differentiation.

Audio control
There is an option to pause, stop or adjust the volume of automatically played audio files.

Contrast (minimum)
Text and images of text have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.

Change text size
Text can be enlarged by up to 200% without losing content.

Reflow
Content is displayed in such a way that no horizontal scrolling is required.

Non-text contrast
Control elements and graphic objects have sufficient contrast.

Text spacing
Text spacing can be adjusted without losing content.

Limit of three flashes or less
Content does not flash more than three times per second unless the flash is secure for users.

Title the page
Each web page has a descriptive title that indicates the purpose of the page.

Link purpose (in context)
The purpose of each link is indicated by the text of the link or its context.

Headings and labels
Headings and labels describe the content or purpose of the respective component.

Focus visible
The keyboard focus is always visible when it is used.

Page language
The main language of the page can be determined programmatically.

On focus
Elements do not change unpredictably when they receive focus.

Elements do not change unpredictably when input is given.

Consistent navigation
Navigation mechanisms are consistent across all pages.

Components that perform the same function are designed consistently.

Market surveillance authority

The federal states have decided to set up a joint market surveillance authority in a state treaty. The state treaty is currently in the ratification process and the market surveillance authority is being set up. As soon as these procedures have been completed, we will inform you here about the responsible market surveillance authority.
