Restaurant Unda

A modern group of buildings with two separate, bright awnings, each shading the roof terrace and the entrance area of the restaurant on the waterfront promenade.

Customised aesthetics:
integrating awnings into the architecture

In the Danish town of Horsens, a catering business has been equipped with a customised shading solution that perfectly accentuates its unique location right on the waterfront. Two

markilux pergola classic
systems were installed to provide protection and comfort.

One of the pergola systems is located directly in front of the restaurant. Its frame colours and colours for the cover were chosen to match the style of the building so that it blends harmoniously into the surroundings. From this sheltered area, guests can enjoy undisturbed views of the water.

A second system was installed on the roof terrace. This pergola includes an additional

markilux 776 vertical roller blind
, which offers flexible protection from the wind if required. The vertical roller blind is equipped with integrated windows so as not to obstruct the spectacular view. This means that the view of the water is maintained even when the awning is extended.

These installations show how functionality and design can be perfectly combined to enhance a restaurant's outdoor area and provide guests with an optimised experience.
