Underglass awning markilux 879

The markilux 879 is an under-glass awning with a round cassette, which is mounted under the roof of a conservatory or patio roof.

Our two models in the range of under-glass awnings, markilux 879 and markilux 779, differ visually in the shape of the cassette. While the cassette of the markilux 779 is angular, the cassette of the markilux 879 is round. Unlike the markilux 779, no LED-Spots can be attached to the cassette of the markilux 879. If you would like LED-Spots, you can attach them to the cover support tube. The markilux 779 can also shade somewhat larger areas.

The standard operation of markilux under-glass awnings is the winding handle. Optionally, motors can be installed that allow convenient control via remote control, app or weather-controlled sensors.

The markilux 879 under-glass awning offers the advantage that the awning cover is optimally protected at all times. Whether retracted or extended, the awning is safe from wind and weather. In addition, numerous lighting options and additional equipment such as shadeplus or infrared heaters can be integrated.

Due to the counter tensioning technology and the design of the markilux 879, areas up to 27 sqm can be shaded. If you decide to use the tracfix (secure cover guidance zip technology without gap between cover and guide track), an area of 24 sqm is possible.

Depending on the size of the awning and whether the tracfix cover guidance zip technology without gap between cover and guide track is selected, the markilux 879 can be classified in wind resistance class 2 or 3.

markilux tracfix is a special type of fabric guidance (secure cover guidance zip technology without gap between cover and guide track). Traditionally, the fabric cover is transported in guide tracks. With the tracfix variant, the gap between the awning cover and guide track is closed, resulting in optimum cover tension and ensuring better wind resistance.

There are various options for the markilux 879 under-glass awning that allow you to enjoy your space in the conservatory or under the patio roof even more. Additional shade is provided by the markilux shadeplus. LED-Lines in the guide tracks, LED-Lines in the cover support tube, LED-Spots on the cover support tube and infrared heaters provide a cozy atmosphere even after sunset.

With the vertical blinds you can shade your conservatory or patio roof all around. Thus, lateral sun rays and the low sun are also intercepted. At the same time, the vertical blinds provide privacy and wind protection.
