markilux freestanding patio heater. Portable and versatile.

Spending as much free time as possible on the Patio or balcony is a popular pastime from spring to autumn. Depending on the season, infrared heaters are particularly welcome in the evenings when it gets cooler outside. For this purpose, we offer not only a unit that can be mounted on a house or an awning, but also a portable freestanding unit. Both infrared heaters can be combined, allowing you to heat the space under an awning in an even more personalised way.

The simply designed infrared freestanding radiant heater is made from high-quality powder-coated aluminium. It is just under one metre high and 35 centimetres wide and deep. The freestanding unit should be placed on a level surface. If it tips over, it switches itself off automatically. This is ensured by a tilt sensor. Thanks to a soft-start function, the infrared heater warms up in a matter of seconds with a low inrush current, which is gentle on the mains supply and the fuse.

Heat at the touch of a button: How to operate your infrared radiant heater

Your markilux infrared radiant heater for awnings can be operated conveniently and comfortably using a switch or remote control. It's not just the warmth of the radiant heater that makes you feel cosy, but also the ease of switching it on and off. With the remote control, you can simply sit on the patio and switch on the heat.

With the free-standing infrared heater, a timer allows the infrared heater to switch off automatically. The timer function allows the radiant heater to switch off automatically after 30, 60 or 90 minutes. To do this, the timer must be programmed via the on/off switch of the radiant heater. Depending on the desired heating duration, one to four signal tones sound as acoustic feedback when the timer is set. In addition, the infrared heater can be switched on for 5 minutes in the "Short-term heating" function by double-clicking the device button and then switched off again automatically.
